Lake Orion’s American Summer is proud to announce that Skalnek Ford has come on as the presenting sponsor for the next three years of this annual celebration.
“We are excited to be the presenting sponsor of this great community event. We are also proud to be a local Lake Orion business since 1964 and want to continue to make our community one that is a destination for all to enjoy and help make our businesses and community flourish. We believe Lake Orion’s American Summer will help accomplish this,” said Ryan Skalnek of Skalnek Ford.
“Lake Orion’s American Summer is all about celebrating our wonderful community, during the most patriotic time of the year. It’s only fitting that the presenting sponsor is an all American company like Skalnek Ford, who sells American vehicles and has been a staple in Lake Orion for over 54 years,” said Brian Birney, President and Founder of Lake Orion’s American Summer. The Skalnek family has done so much for this community and their support means a lot to the community and the event. They’ve punched our ticket for a successful three years,” he added.
Lake Orion’s American Summer is focused around activities, businesses and happenings throughout Lake Orion around the 4th of July. The event kicks off on June 15 with the first annual Kick-Off Pool Party at Paint Creek Country Club and ends on July 4th. During that timeframe, they will be promoting and partnering with numerous community activities, including the Lions Club Jubilee, Lake Orion Fireworks Association and many more. The popular Pub Crawl presented by Bacardi takes place on June 28 and Restaurant Week presented by Lake Orion Printing & Design takes place June 25 – July 1.
